Photo update. Here are a few photos until the next blog post.A

A view of the North Women`s Dorm entrance
A frequent scene outside my balcony. My buddies come to visit me and ask for food. You aren`t supposed to feed them.

To me this is beautiful and representative of Japanese people. The bag, book, waterbottle, thermos, hand cloth...it all works together and are daily necessities here.

Todaiji Gate, often crammed with tourists and student field trip groups.
Covered shopping district street; Higashi Muki.

The detail on this wood was beautiful. Near the culverts in front of North Women`s Dorms.

Art has been something of a necessity since I came to Japan. It helps me deal with stresses and it soothes me. This was homework for my Communications class, it will be put up on display for Japanese students wishing to meet foreigners, but I really just enjoyed painting it.
